Jury selects four artists from the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany and South Korea.
249 creatives and artists from 27 countries applied for the Munken Works scholarship. Now the jury members — Czesława Frejlich, Roland Nachtigäller and Gerhard Steidl — have made their final decision: in summer 2013, Sun Jung Hwang and Annemarie van den Berg, from South Korea and the Netherlands, Sandra Kühne from Switzerland and Edith Kollath from Germany will each spend one month in the Munken Works Space realising their artistic projects.
‘It was a difficult decision. The entries through the bank were of a very high standard. Particularly when we got down to the final 15, there was hardly anything to choose between them,’ said Professor Czesława Frejlich commenting on the jury’s decision.
